The history of the Selangor State Museum has already started much earlier , in the year 1987. When the Selangor State Museum which was established by the British is not available at the Selangor Museum today. Founder when it is H.C. Syers . Efforts to collect artifacts of the pre - history to display in the museum began in 1894 in which the JP Rodger was giving some ax or hatchet , known as " Stone Lintar " at that time to the museum.
