Housing Development Corporation (HDC) formerly known as Sarawak Housing and Development Commission (SHDC) was established in 1971 under the Housing Development Commission Ordinance 1971. SHDC, a state statutory body under the Ministry of Housing, started its operations on 1st November 1972.
On 29 October 2002 the new Ordinance of Housing Development Corporation was passed in the State Legislative Assembly to replace the Housing and Development Commission Ordinance 1971.
Effective from 1st January 2003, SHDC was changed to Housing Development Corporation (HDC) which operates as a corporate body under the purview of the Ministry of Housing Sarawak.
Applications are invite from qualified Malaysians to fill job vacant positions in Perbadanan Pembangunan Perumahan (HDC) as:
1. Akauntan
2. Penolong Pegawai Tadbir
