MAINPP established by virtue of section 4 of the Administrative Law Scholars IslamTahun 1959 to advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong President in matters related to Islam.
MAINPP role is to create an Islamic society who believe, fear Allah and dynamic with Islam as a way of life. It also serves to administer justice according to Islamic laws as well as the control and eradication of apostasy, heresy, insubordination, disobedience, superstition and thoughts that affect the sanctity of Islam.
In addition, MAINPP also serve to develop, promote, facilitate and undertake economic and social well-being of Muslims in Penang based on Islamic law '.
Policies and decisions Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Pulau Pinang approved by 16 members for a period of 2 years commissioned by His Majesty Yang Di Pertuan Agong.
Qualified Malaysians are invited to fill job vacant positions in the Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Pulau Pinang (MAINP) as:
1. Penolong Jurutera - JA29
2. Pembantu Tadbir (Perkeranian / Operasi) - N17
